Using this Site indicates that you accept this legal notice in full regardless of whether or not you choose to place an order or register with the Company. If you do not accept these terms, do not use this Site.

1. Definitions
“Company” refers to AW Driver Training Ltd.
“Course” refers to any driving training, event, or experience provided by the Company.
“Participant” refers to the individual attending the Course.
“Booking” refers to any confirmed reservation made via the website or directly with the Company.
2. Booking & Contract Formation
2.1 A Booking is confirmed once payment (full or deposit where applicable) is received and a confirmation email is issued.
2.2 By placing a Booking, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
2.3 These Terms apply to all Bookings regardless of the Participant’s country of residence.
3. Payment Terms
3.1 UK-based Courses require full payment at the time of booking.
3.2 Sweden Ice Driving Courses require a deposit at booking, with the remaining balance payable by the date specified at the time of booking.
3.3 All prices are stated in GBP unless otherwise specified.
4. Cancellations & Changes
4.1 UK Courses
4.1.1 Bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable within 30 days of the Course date.
4.1.2 Changes to Bookings (including date changes) are permitted free of charge with more than 30 days’ notice.
4.1.3 If a Booking is made within 30 days of the Course date, it is final and non-refundable.
4.2 Sweden Ice Driving Courses
4.2.1 Bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable within 12 weeks (84 days) of the Course date.
4.2.2 Changes to Bookings (including date changes) are permitted free of charge with more than 12 weeks’ notice (84 days) notice.
4.2.3 If a Booking is made within 84 days of the Course date, it is final and non-refundable.
4.3 General
4.3.1 A Participant may be substituted with another driver if the Company is notified in advance and required details (including next of kin) are updated.
4.3.2 Where a refund is agreed at the Company’s discretion, a reasonable deduction may be made to cover non-recoverable payment processing fees.
5. Non-Attendance and Late arrival
5.1 Failure to attend a Course (“no-show”) will result in the Booking being forfeited without refund.
5.2 If a Participant is late, the Company will endeavour to accommodate them; however, this may result in reduced driving time and no refund will be given.
5.3 Participants are encouraged to notify the Company in advance if they expect to be late.
6. Company Cancellations
6.1 The Company reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a Course due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:
Instructor illness
Weather conditions
Venue availability issues
Safety concerns
6.2 In such cases, the Company will:
Offer an alternative date, or
Provide a refund if a suitable alternative cannot be agreed
6.3 Decisions to cancel or proceed are made as late as reasonably possible to allow for changing conditions, while balancing the need to minimise unnecessary travel. Despite this, late cancellations may occasionally be unavoidable.
6.4 The Company shall not be responsible for any additional costs incurred by the Participant, including but not limited to travel, accommodation, or loss of earnings.
6.5 Any goodwill gestures offered are entirely at the discretion of the Company and do not constitute a contractual obligation.
7. Force Majeure
7.1 The Company shall not be liable for failure or delay in performing its obligations where this is due to events beyond its reasonable control.
8. Course Conditions (Including Ice Driving)
8.1 Courses are subject to environmental and venue conditions.
8.2 For ice driving courses, the Company cannot guarantee ice conditions.
8.3 Where conditions are deemed unsuitable for safe operation, the Company will use reasonable endeavours to:
Offer alternative dates, or
Provide a modified experience
8.4 Refunds in such circumstances are not guaranteed, as costs will have been incurred, but may be considered at the Company’s discretion.
8.5 The Company shall not be responsible for any additional costs incurred by Participants in relation to altered or cancelled courses, including travel, accommodation, or other expenses.
9. Vehicle Responsibility (UK Courses)
9.1 Participants are responsible for ensuring their vehicle is roadworthy, safe, and suitable for the Course.
9.2 The Company does not inspect or certify vehicles and accepts no responsibility for their condition.
9.3 No refund will be provided if a vehicle is unable to participate due to mechanical failure or due to unsuitability.
10. Noise Limits
10.1 Where applicable, vehicles must comply with venue noise limits as stated on the booking page.
10.2 Vehicles failing noise tests will not be permitted to participate.
10.3 No refund will be provided in the event of noise limit failure.
11. Mechanical Failure During the Course
11.1 If a vehicle suffers mechanical failure during the Course, no refund or partial refund will be given.
12. Conduct & Safety
12.1 All Participants must attend and comply with the safety briefing.
12.2 Participants must follow all instructions given by the instructor.
12.3 The Company reserves the right to remove any Participant from the Course without refund if they behave unsafely.
12.4 Participants must not take part if under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
13. Driving Licence Requirements
13.1 Participants are not required to hold a UK driving licence.
13.2 It is the Participant’s responsibility to ensure they are legally permitted and competent to drive.
14. Instructor Driving Participant Vehicles
14.1 The instructor may drive a Participant’s vehicle where appropriate and agreed.
14.2 The Company will exercise reasonable care and skill when doing so.
15. Damage & Liability
15.1 Participation is at the Participant’s own risk.
15.2 The Participant is responsible for damage to their vehicle, third-party vehicles, and venue property.
15.3 The Company shall not be liable for damage unless caused by the proven negligence of the instructor.
16. Spectators
16.1 Spectators may attend at the Company’s discretion.
16.2 Spectators must comply with safety instructions and are not permitted to drive.
17. Gift Vouchers
17.1 Gift vouchers are valid until the expiry date stated.
17.2 Expired vouchers will not be honoured.
18. Assumption of Risk
18.1 Participants acknowledge that performance driving involves inherent risks and agree to participate voluntarily.
19. Photography & Video
19.1 Photography and video may be taken during the Course for marketing and social media.
19.2 Participants can opt out by notifying us in advance.
20. Liability
20.1 Nothing excludes liability for death or injury caused by negligence.
20.2 The Company is not liable for indirect losses.
20.3 The Company shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential losses, including but not limited to travel costs, accommodation costs, or loss of earnings.
20.4 Any goodwill gestures are entirely at the Company’s discretion.
21. Data Protection
Personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and UK GDPR.
22. Governing Law
22.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
